Tokyo Cooking Class by MAIKOYA

What a fun and educational experience. After learning and performing the tea ceremony, we were able to take lots of photos and even visit Senso-ji Temple while fully dressed up.

There is a reason this is nothing less than 5 stars. It is not a trip to Japan without a tea ceremony and here, you learn every aspect of it in traditional dress. All hosts and hostesses speak English and clearly take pride and joy in this place. You get beautiful pictures and can even walk with your kimonos around town. I highly highly recommend it.

Wonderful time in the tea ceremony. Yuri, our host was kind and joyful. Her sense of humour lightened the room to make feel us confortable.

10/10! Loved this wonderful experience. The instructor was helpful and patient during the sweet making experience. The ladies tying the kimonos were fun and talkative and helped me find the colors I was looking for so the kimono components matched. Really loved this class!

The most amazing experience! Sweets making and kimono wearing and the tea ceremony was world class. Everyone was so professional and nice. We also had the option to wear kimono for the rest of the day, but we choose not to. Definitely an unforgettable experience.
