[Jan 2026] Yukari is a bubbly person who makes her cooking classes really fun and enjoyable. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there, learning food prep and cooking. Really good quality ingredients used and we sat down to a scrumptious meal at the end. Totally recommended!

Shinji’s class was an exceptional experience. He is a LOVELY person with an absolutely incredible class. Not only was the food delicious, but spending time learning and getting to know Shinji was a highlight of our trip. He is an amazing person with a class that will be a special memory forever. You absolutely must book this class!!!!

We had a wonderful time at the Izakaya class with Yukari, who was not only warm and welcoming, but a great teacher. We learned some great tips and techniques, enjoyed incredible food, and met some very nice people. It was a highlight of our trip to Japan!

The From Market to Meal class was a fabulous experience - a highlight of my trip and is up there with one of the best cooking experiences I’ve done while traveling. Yukari is lovely company to spend time with and a great teacher - delicious menu that’s possible to make at home, clear instructions and encouragement to give everything a go, and a sense of no rush even though we did A LOT in the four or so hours. Yukari is clearly passionate about both Japanese cooking and teaching with joy and I wouldn’t hesitate to sign up for more classes next time I’m in Tokyo.

Absolutely awesome. Would definitely recommend. Great quality ingredients. Fun and easy instructions from Yukari and some great recommendations for local places to eat and shops to buy kitchen stuff. The food we made was absolutely delicious.

A fantastic class, Yukari was an excellent teacher and so welcoming and friendly. She was on hand to give tips and recommendations for exploring Tokyo and all the dishes we made were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

We had such a great experience taking the Sushi 101 class at Tokyo Cooking Studio with Shinji. It was such a welcoming atmosphere, and Shinji was very knowledgeable, showing us the right way to cut each piece of fish. We truly had a great time, and it was the highlight of my trip to Japan!
