Great affordable spot to rent a bike. They have helmets that are included as well. Bikes were maybe a tad on the smaller frame size for me (6’). But not too big of a deal. They have great set of maps you can import directly into google maps for local interest points. I biked over to the Arakawa river where there is a very nice bike path that goes for many miles up and down the river.

Kudos to this shop for helping me tick biking around Japan off my bucket list! Owner was very accommodating and even offered to swap out my bike just because the brakes were making a bit of noise which shows how much he cares about making the biking experience very special. If you're in Tokyo rent a bike. If you're renting a bike in Tokyo go see this guy, he's amazing. Smiling, friendly, efficient service, good price and really cool bikes. He has two types, both minivelo style - acoustic and ebike. Seriously getting a bike in Tokyo is a game changer - it takes you away from the crawling crowds of foreign tourists and lets you explore the city and it's intricacies on a really intimate level. You can get to all the usual hotspots in 20 mins max with a cool pedal down the back streets and alleys. Handily, there's a LUUP bikeshare spot about 20 seconds away from his shop so you can come and pick up your rental from him and drop it back off and still get back to where youre staying with the little Luup ebike. Cannot recommend this spot enough - the bikes are immaculate and even when I had my light and phone holder stolen from the bike (yes there is crime in Japan) he smiled and gave me a 'no problem' approach. Highly recommended.

Bikes are great, prices even better and two guys working there even better than that! If you’re worried about traffic laws, they explain everything in really good english. Totally recommend checking Tokyo out by bike for a day or two!

The place is really neat and clean. One could already tell that they provide quality bikes and service. The staff were very accommodating and very nice people. Transaction was easy and direct. Rented a bike for a week and it was worth it. I was able to travel around the outskirts of Tokyo in my own time and pace. You get a deeper feel of the city cycling thru the back alleys and streets. It was a sad moment when I had to return the bike. But I will come back here again for bike rental. 10/10 recommended. Thank you Shitamachi Street!

He's a very kind and helpful person. The bikes are very clean and in good condition, perfect for touring Tokyo.
